I just took a look at the other blogs and - no surprise - everyone has the same background theme :(

Hey everyone!

I think the blog looks great but I did change some things about it.

• I changed the post title to Josefin sans
• I also changed the background to a greeninsh blue. I thought the last background color was fine but I like this color with the background of the bookshelves. 
• I also slightly increased the width of the entire blog and decreased the width of the right sidebar. 

If anybody doesn't like the layout of these changes, feel free to change it.

Hi all!

So I think the blog looks great! I was stuck with what to do because I like it a lot! Anyway, I changed the background color on the title, I wasn't really feeling the blue. What do you guys think? Yay, nay?

An Update! Setting Up E-mail Notifications!

Hi everyone!

I think our blog looks great! (Although, I wonder how many other teams will have the same background for their blogs lol)

We're still waiting on two people to be invited, Barbara and Itza. It doesn't look like they've seen the e-mail that I sent a few days ago so I will be e-mailing them again today.

Also, I was curious to see if we are able to set up e-mail notification alerts when new posts are published on our blog. And we are! (I thought that this would be very convenient because the first thing that I tend to check when I go online is my e-mail. Keeping up to date, I feel, will be easier for me this way). If you think that this is something that will be helpful to you, and if you haven't already, below are instructions on how to set this up!

1. On the Settings page of our website, on the left towards the bottom, you should be able to see the  "Mobile and email" option in the menu:

2. You will be taken to the "Mobile and email" settings page and at the bottom you should see the "Email posts to" option. To the right of it, click "Add" and a box should now appear where you will be able to add your e-mail, as well as others, so that new post alerts could be sent to those addresses:

3. Remember to save your settings by clicking the "Save settings" button at the top right part of the page! You should now be able to receive e-mail alerts when anybody on our team publishes a new post on our website!

The only thing I changed on the template was to center the title of the blog.  If you don't like it like that, let me know and I'll change it back.

Hi everyone!

I'm Angela and I'm looking forward to being a part of this blog with all of you.  I love what you have all done with the blog so far!  Riley, the bookshelf background looks great and is perfect for our blog theme.  Kendra, the text bubble and font for the posts seem like a good size.  Ying-Chun, I thought the blog title looked nice and was clearly noticeable and easy to read.  I changed the font size and style of the date tab, the contributors tab, and the blog archive tab.  I thought if the text was a little bigger with an easier to read font it would look more visually appealing.

Riley, thanks again for getting this going for us!

Blog Title Format

Hello everyone,

This is Ying-Chun. Glad to be your team member. I tried all kinds of font, color and size for the blog title and then made some changes on it. Hope you like it. Feel free to make more changes if you prefer other font, size or color.

In addition, thank Riley for setting up the team blog and choosing a very nice background. And thank Kendra for changing the width of the text bubble and making it more visual pleasant.

A little confusion

Hi everyone! This is Kendra.

Sorry for the confusion on creating twin blogs! I should have checked my Palomar email beforehand.

I widen the text bubble to the suggested ( in the video ) 1160 and also changed the text/script for the Posts.

I like what Riley did with the background - I had that as my background too! I'm excited to see the changes to this blog all of you come up with.

Hi everyone!

I'm Riley and I'm here to tell you all about what I've done so far for our new website. I set up this blog for all of us a couple of days ago and today I played around with the different backgrounds we could have on our blogs and ultimately decided on the one with the books on the shelves.

Feel free to give your input about our background and whether or not is should be changed!
